This website

• No cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no ads, no embedded third-party content. Fonts and images are served from this server.
• When you visit, the web server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page, browser identifier) to deliver the page and protect it from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Provider and retention of server logs: Not provided yet (configuration: SITE_HOSTING_PROVIDER)
• There is no contact form. If you e-mail us, we only use your message to reply.

The OddCue app

On the device

Your group’s names and characters, settings, played questions and the running game stay on the device. The date of birth for the 18+ area is not stored, only the age class derived from it and the date of the declaration. The app has no ads, no tracking and no analytics tools.

Purchases, restore, device transfer

Only then does the app contact our server: with a random installation id, the kind of device (iOS/Android) and – when buying – the store’s proof of purchase. We check the purchase with the store (Apple or Google) and store which packs belong to this anonymous id. No name, e-mail or date of birth is sent. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

During a device transfer the old device only sees the kind of the new device. The one-time code is only stored hashed and expires after 15 minutes. Linked devices can be removed in the app. “Delete all data” in the app only deletes the data on the device; we delete the purchase link on the server on request (purchases can then be restored through the store).

Payment itself is handled by Apple or Google; their privacy notices apply.

Voice packs

When you download read-aloud voices, the download server sees your IP address as with any request. No id is needed for this.

Playing on several phones

The connection runs directly between your devices on the local network; our server is not involved.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. As we know no names, a request about the app needs the installation id or the device.
